§ Mr. AlisonHospital catchment areas are not directly related to constituency boundaries. Patients from the Ince constituency would normally be referred to hospitals of the Wigan and Leigh and the Ormskirk and District Hospital Management Committees. The relevant ratios of beds per 1,000 population, excluding mental illness and mental handicapped beds (of which there are few under the Hospital Management Committees concerned), are as follows:
