HC Deb 15 March 1971 vol 813 c250W
Mr. Adam Hunter

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what facilities there are in Dunfermline and West Fife Hospitals for people suffering from ear, nose and throat complaints; and what alternative hospital provides the service when the facilities are inadequate.

Mr. Gordon Campbell

Out-patient facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose and throat complaints are available at Dunfermline and West Fife Hospital. In-patient facilities for ear, nose and throat surgery for the southern area of Fife including Dunfermline are provided at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

Mr Adam Hunter

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what facilities there are for treating infectious diseases in Dunfermline and West Fife Hospitals; and what alternative hospital provides the service when the facilities are inadequate.

Mr. Gordon Campbell

No beds in Dunfermline and West Fife are specifically allocated for the treatment of infectious diseases. Beds for infectious diseases in Cameron Hospital, Windygates, service the population in the southern area of Fife, including Dunfermline.
