asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many industrial development certificates have been authorised for Scotland, and the County of Fife, respectively, since 1st October, 1970.

From 1st October, 1970, to 31st January, 1971, 73 industrial development certificates were issued for Scotland, including three for the employment exchange areas most nearly corresponding to the County of Fife.
