HC Deb 11 March 1971 vol 813 cc156-7W
Mr. Moate

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what complaints he has received on the question of rounding-up of prices as a result of decimalisation; and what publicity has been given to this matter by the Decimal Currency Board.

Mr. Higgins

Since D Day we have received three letters about price increases, including my hon. Friend's letter which arrived on 9th March and to which I am replying. The Decimal Currency Board has actively recommended the use of the Shoppers' Table, wherever practicable, for repricing.
