Mr. Gwynoro Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Wales which local authorities in Wales have submitted proposals for the provision of purpose-built dwellings for the disabled since Section 3(1) of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act, 1970, came into force.

The following local authorities in Wales have submitted proposals since the Act came into force:

  • Cardiff County Borough Council.
  • Merthyr County Borough Council.
  • Newport County Borough Council.
  • Cwmbran Urban District Council.
  • Penarth Urban District Council.
  • Maelor Rural District Council.
  • Monmouth Rural District Council.
