§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what provisions there are for the training of children's officers in Wales.
§ Mr. AlisonPost-graduate courses leading to a professional qualification in child care are available at the University Colleges of Cardiff and Swansea and a course leading to the same qualification open to students aged at least 23 who cannot meet the entry requirements for under-graduate or post-graduate training is provided by the College of Commerce and Food Technology, Cardiff. The Central Training Council in Child Care is planning an additional emergency course in South Wales for students aged 35 or over.
