§ Mr. RidleyThe wholesale price index numbers (home sales) for the products of the chemicals and allied industries, for vehicles (excluding aerospace equipment) and for the products of the engineering and allied industries showed percentage increases between 1958 and 1970 of 10, 30 and 37 respectively. An index for all manufactured products excluding nationalised industries is not available; the index inclusive of these industries shows an increase of 38 per cent.
