asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many motor cars were exported to Italy, Germany and France in 1960, 1965 and 1970.

Mr. Ridley

17,000, 43,000 and 74,000 in 1960, 1965 and 1970 respectively: the figures include exports of unassembled cars but exclude any British cars assembled in the Netherlands and Belgium and delivered to the countries stated.
