HC Deb 04 March 1971 vol 812 c512W
73. Sir S. McAdden

asked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he is aware of the hardship being caused to the home holiday industry by the continued stoppage of the postal services; and what action he proposes to assist this industry.

Mr. Bryan

We have been greatly concerned about the effects of the strike of postal workers. Following the agreement reached between the Union and the Post Office under my right hon. Friend's chairmanship earlier today, we hope there will be a speedy return to normal working.
