§ Mr. Carterasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the future of the Numerical Optimisation Centre, Hatfield.
§ Mr. RidleyThe Department is terminating its agreement with the Hatfield Polytechnic for the running of the Centre at the end of March, 1971, but some terminal financial support will continue until the end of September. I understand it is the intention of the Polytechnic to seek authority and resources to continue the Centre from its governing body.
