§ Mr. Prescottasked the Secretary of State for Employment how many applications were received and granted for training grants in the Hull employment exchange area under the Local Employment Act, 1970; and how many people were covered by them.
§ Mr. BryanSince 1st September, 1969. when training grants became available to new and expanding firms in the Intermediate Areas, 10 applications have been received from the Hull area. Grants have been offered in five cases, covering the training of 603 men and 1,122 women.
