§ Mr. SharplesThe new policies announced on 27th October did not ex-410W tend in Northern Ireland to matters—such as agriculture— which are the responsibility of the Northern Ireland Government except for the changes in the Farm Capital Grant Scheme. These changes, and the new tax allowances, will apply in Northern Ireland as in Great Britain, but the effect will depend on the individual tax position of Northern Ireland farmers.
