§ Mr. Anthony RoyleThe grant-in-aid on the B.B.C. External Broadcasting Services for the current financial year is £12.9 million. The direct costs of the Persian language service amount to about £43,000 per annum and for the Burmese language service about £30,000 per annum. There are no current plans for changes.
