§ 4. Mr. McCrindleasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what representations he has received suggesting amending legislation to enable the British Broadcasting Corporation to consider accepting limited advertising to offset rising costs.
§ Mr. ChatawayAbout six correspondents have suggested to me that the B.B.C. should accept advertising. Legislation would not be necessary to enable the B.B.C. to do so, although under its Licence and Agreement it would require my consent.
