§ Mr. Bishopasked the Secretary of State for Employment what action he is taking to encourage more women to enter and train for work in engineering and technical pursuits; and what action he is taking to ensure adequate training facilities.
§ Mr. BryanWomen's own preferences largely control the present pattern of women's employment and training. My Department's services will continue to encourage women and girls to widen their range of choice and to take advantage of the increasing variety of career opportunities available to them. I have no reason to believe that training facilities are inadequate.
