§ Mr. Anthony StodartMy Department has undertaken and is continuing to undertake considerable experimental and investigational work on the use of dried poultry manure as animal feed. All the evidence indicates that the high temperatures used in the conversion process do destroy salmonella and other dangerous organisms, including viruses. We have found no evidence of the presence of other dangerous residues.
