§ The Prime MinisterThe Association has repeated its request that I should meet a deputation to discuss the economic situation in the North-West. I have accepted its offer to submit a memorandum, in the light of which I will consider whether a meeting could add anything to what the Association has already been told in its discussions with my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Trade and Industry and for the Environment.
