§ Mr. Peter ThomasThe British Railways Board announced on 18th June that the bridge will not be re-opened to traffic on 2nd August as originally planned. The board and the contractors are doing their utmost to complete the work as speedily as possible, and it is hoped that traffic will be restored by early autumn. The Government have made known to the board their concern at the delay, and I will write to the right hon. Gentleman.
