§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Attorney-General whether, since Mr. Wilfred Harvey has now declared himself to be fit, he will prosecute him for charges involving a fraud of some £360,000 previously dropped on the grounds of indisposition of the accused.
§ The Solicitor-GeneralThe decision to apply for the withdrawal of the summonses against Mr. Harvey was taken with the Attorney-General's agreement in the light of medical reports covering the period from November, 1967 to December, 1970. He does not consider that there are at present sufficient grounds for re-opening the matter.
