(2) what percentage of the latest available total number of male persons unemployed in the United Kingdom were previously employed as labourers.
§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 8th March, out of 568,001 registered wholly unemployed men in Great Britain, 292,015 (51.4 per cent.) were registered for employment in labouring occupations. The occupational analysis does not indicate either the industry or the occupation in which an unemployed person last worked.
