§ Mr. Gordon CampbellA Report on Technician Courses and Examinations in Scotland prepared by a committee of the Scottish Technical Education Consultative Council is being published today. It offers guidance on a co-ordinated pattern of courses and examinations in each of the technical and business sectors, and makes recommendations about the bodies which should administer them.
I am grateful to the Council for this comprehensive review, and I am commending the report for consideration by all interested parties. When consultations with the principal interests involved have been completed, I shall consider what action should be taken on the recommendations with which I am concerned.
