§ Mr. RipponStatistics for the annual consumption of lime in the European Economic Community countries are not readily available. There is no Community scheme for subsidising the use of lime for agricultural purposes. Detailed information about present practices in individual member States is not readily available but as far as I am aware there are no State aids of this kind.
