§ Mr. Gordon CampbellI announced on 17th May my decision to accept the Reporter's recommendation following a public inquiry, and grant planning permission for the extension of the main runway at Abbotsinch Airport. This does not imply any change in Government policy on the respective roles of Prestwick and Abbotsinch Airports.
