§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government accept Recommendation No. 638 on the general and cultural aspects of east-west relations which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 27th January, 1971; and whether they will instruct their representative in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe to agree to the requests contained in paragraph 9.
§ Mr. Anthony RoyleHer Majesty's Government accept in general the aims of Recommendation 638 and the United Kingdom representative at the Council of Europe will continue to play a full part in the Committee of Ministers' discussions on the general and cultural aspects of East-West Relations.
