§ LORD GARDINER
asked Her Majesty's Government:
When the Advisory Committee recommended by the Committee on Legal Education is likely to be appointed.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR
It would be premature to appoint an Advisory Committee before certain related problems raised by the Ormrod Report have been resolved. These are now being studied and I hope that the appointment of the Advisory Committee will not be long delayed.
