§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Lord President of the Council when, in the event of the United Kingdom's entry into the European Economic Community, he now expects to be able to initiate a scheme to fulfil the obligation of the British Parliament to elect from among its National Parliament Members to the European Parliament.
§ Mr. WhitelawI do not foresee any difficulty in making the necessary arrangements for the British Parliament, in line with the present practices followed by Parliaments of other existing members of the Community.
