§ Mr. Adam Butlerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is his policy in regard to requiring National Health Service doctors to give reasons when they have asked for patients' names to be removed from their lists.
§ Sir K. JosephFamily doctors are not required to give reasons for asking Executive Councils to remove patients' names from their National Health Service lists, nor do patients need to give reasons for changing their doctors. I think it is in300W the interests of good doctor/patient relationships that both parties should have this freedom of choice.
