Mr. Roy Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Employment what steps he is taking to use the specialist services of his Department to find alternative employment for the 400 employees at the British Aluminium Company's Aluminia Factory at Newport, Monmouthshire, who will be made redundant over a period following the decision to close the works.
