§ Mr. van StraubenzeeThe future financial relationship between central and local government will be settled in the light of the Green Paper "The future shape of Local Government Finance "(Paragraphs 40–49) which was presented to Parliament yesterday and published as a basis for consultation. These paragraphs relate to the expenditure of local authorities on education as well as other services.
