§ Mr. MaudlingI have now received comments from all the police representative organisations on my proposals for the future of police areas, and I recently met representatives of the Police Federation, who advocated that existing force areas should be maintained within a regional structure. I am now considering all the views which have been put before me and I shall consult the Police Advisory Board as appropriate.
