§ 37. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Attorney-General with the advice of which members of the judiciary and the legal profession he was fortified in his examinations of the terms and conditions for possible entry into the Eropean Economic Community, including the transference of the rights of determination of the validity and interpretation of the Treaty of Rome on instruments and acts made under it from the House of Lords to the European Court of Justice.
