§ Mr. Braineasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has for providing further financial aid to Uganda.
§ Mr. WoodI have offered the Uganda Government a loan of £10 million to assist in their development during the three-year period beginning on 1st April, 1972. The Uganda Government have accepted this offer, and we shall be discussing the terms of the loan and the precise purposes to which it will be put. I hope that a small mission will go from my Department to Kampala early in October to discuss ways in which the loan may be best used.
