§ Mr. Boothasked the Minister of State for Defence what was his most recent request to Barrow-in-Furness County Borough Council for the provision of residential properties for naval personnel.
§ Mr. KirkThe Council was asked on 30th December, 1970—and has since agreed—to lease progressively 20 rising to 40 properties for the accommodation of naval personnel engaged on the submarine and Type 42 frigate construction programme at Barrow-in-Furness, for the period 1971–73.
