§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry on what date he expects to publish the report of the investigation into affairs connected 80W with the Pergamon Press and associated companies ; and whether he will give an assurance that the original report will not be altered or amended at the request of those persons who have had the benefit of a preview of this report before its official publication date.
§ Mr. John DaviesAfter very careful consideration, I have reached the conclusion that the public interest requires publication of the Inspector's Report. It is my present intention to publish it this afternoon. Apart from a typographical correction, the text has not changed since the Report was presented.
