asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) how many complaints have been received from owners of gas appliances as a result of those appliances being converted to natural gas ; and how many such complaints related to household gas cookers ;

(2) how many gas appliances have now been converted to natural gas ; and how many of these are household gas cookers.

These are matters for the gas industry and I am asking the Chairman of the Gas Council to write to the hon. Member.
