Mr. Bryant Godman Irvineasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what progress he has made in his consideration of replacing the orders that ensure that imported foods bear an indication of origin when exposed for retail sale after 30th November, when the current marking orders lapse.
§ Mr. RidleyOnly a limited range of foods are covered by existing orders. I am still considering with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food which of these merit further orders, but we hope to put forward our conclusions before long.
