§ Mr. HigginsThe average annual increase in United Kingdom gross national product at constant prices between 1955 and 1960 was 2.4 per cent. and between 1960 and 1969, the latest year for which figures are available, was 2.8 per cent. These increases take no account of differences in the pressure of demand in the terminal years of each period.
