§ Mr. MaudlingThe pay of probation officers is a matter for consideration in the first instance by the Joint Negotiating Committee for the Probation Service. The Committee held a first meeting to review the current position on 15th January. I shall give careful consideration to any recommendations which the Committee may in due course make to me.
