§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry why he has given instruction to the Registrar of Restrictive Trading Agreements not to investigate the code of standards of advertising practice and other provisions of membership of the Proprietary Association of Great Britain.
§ Mr. RidleyOn the Registrar's representation, my right hon. Friend was satisfied that the restrictions contained in the Association's membership provisions are not of such significance as to call for investigation by the Restrictive Practices Court. He accordingly gave a direction discharging the Registrar from taking proceedings in the Court.
