§ Mr. Dudley SmithWhere employers are unwilling to reimburse travelling expenses, careers officers may make payments to disabled young people and to214W young people who make applications under the Training Allowances Scheme or the Resettlement Transfer Scheme. Other young people who may suffer hardship are in certain circumstances, able to receive payments from the Department of Health and Social Security under the Supplementary Benefits Scheme.
