§ Mr. BryanDuring 1970, 396,000 working days were lost in the shipbuilding and ship-repairing industry in the United Kingdom in stoppages of work due to industrial disputes. The corresponding figure for the rest of the economy was 10,574,000. Seven per cent. of the stoppages in shipbuilding and ship-repairing in 1970 were due to disputes about demarcation. All these figures are provisional.
