§ Mr. van StraubenzeeLocal education authorities have no discretion in this224W matter. The charge from 15th February until the end of the spring term is laid down by regulation as 9p for every meal or 44p per week. These are the respective Shoppers' Table conversion rates for ls. 9d. (the regulation charge for a school meal until 14th February) and 8s. 9d. (the cost of a week's meals at 1s. 9c1. per meal).
