§ 62. Mr. Murrayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the progress made by his Department and Edinburgh Corporation in discussing the need to relieve traffic congestion in the city while maintaining the highest standards of amenity for the citizens.
§ Mr. YoungerFollowing the latest proposals made to Edinburgh Corporation by the consultants carrying out the Central Edinburgh Planning and Transport Study, corporation officials have consulted my right hon. Friend's Department informally about the scope of the study. No other discussions are in progress.
