§ Mr. AlisonUrgent cases are admitted without delay. Waiting lists for non-urgent cases in some surgical specialties have been reduced in recent years, and continuing improvement can be expected as numbers of medical staff have been and will be further increased; improvements to the Leicester Royal Infirmary will be completed this year; and further substantial development of that hospital takes place over the next few years.
