Numbers of houses completed in each year from 1962 to 1969 are given in Table 1 of the Housing Return for Scotland, 30th September, 1970. In 1970, 29,456 houses were completed by local authorities, 2,790 by New Town Development Corporations, and 3,525 by the Scottish Special Housing Association.
