§ Mr. Clark Hutchisonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will prepare a statement for publication at an early date of the State Law in Scotland and the provisions of the Common Law in Scotland which would have to be repealed or amended if the United Kingdom signed the Treaty of Rome and 125W implemented the various resolutions and directions already in force thereunder.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe extent to which the laws of the United Kingdom would require modification in the event of our accession to the Treaty of Rome is at present under close examination; and it is too early to make a statement on this matter.
