Estimates of the numbers of employees in Wales, analysed by industry, are made for each mid-year and the latest are for June, 1969. The estimates do not distinguish the total factory labour force but at that date there were 336,100 employees in employment in Wales in manufacturing industries. Estimates for June, 1970, will be published shortly.
