§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe programme of major road works for which I am the highway authority involves expenditure 473W of £63.1 million for M62, A58 and A629/650. Other expenditure, including expenditure by local authorites, is being and will be incurred on new housing and housing improvement, water and sewerage, clean air, town centre development and the reclamation of derelict land, but separate programmes related to the wool textile district are not identifilable.
