§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Attorney-General why, in view of the fact that in the case of the John Bloom trial he 425W was able to give the legal costs involved, subject to taxation, he is unable to give similar details for the secrets case against the Sunday Telegraph and other defendants.
§ The Attorney-GeneralUntil taxation by the Court, the legal costs are not known. The prosecution costs for the trial of Mr. John Bloom and of two others charged with him were stated in the answer I gave the hon. Member on 9th July, 1970. This was after the costs had been taxed.—[Vol. 803, c.98–9.]
