§ 95. Mr. James Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement upon his discussions with the Norwegian Government regarding the 12-mile fishing limits in the event of our jointly joining the European Economic Community.
§ Mr. Anthony RoyleHer Majesty's Government take a close interest in the attitudes of the other applicant countries to the common fisheries policy of the Community. We are in contact with the Norwegian Government on matters of mutual interest but these contacts are confidential. Her Majesty's Government have reserved their position on the common fisheries policy.
